PETA, your new ad is certainly not in the best interest of animals it is extremely offensive, insensitive and self serving. It shows you lack good character and integrity. Your justification is that it is OK because animals are mistreated. Yes they are and they certainly shouldn’t be because they are beings and not objects or toys but exactly how does that justify your insensitivity to a huge body of believers by using the Crucifix to strategically cover a naked womans body? It’s an offensive sacrileg to many and also, you can argue the point as I used to but, in my heart I know that objectizing a woman is wrong and can contribute to emotional and physical disregard and abuse. It’s easy to disrespect and mistreat an object.
If you are insensitive and disrespectful , you are insensitive and disrespectful. You have shown you are both.
(Lest I am misunderstood, might I add that I am so sensitive to other living things that I even despise fishing for sport.)
