Jake and kimchi...

Jake is a gassy little dog to begin with. Boston Terriers are like that. Today is one of the worst. Every so often this wave of rotten cabbage scent makes itself known and I look over and he’s laying there, one eye open, making sure he got me. I can only compare it to kimchi, for you foodies, who know that kimchi is what Korean people call cabbage that’s been left in crocks...

It's snowing. Right now. Here in Tampa Bay.
Okay, it’s technically sleeting. Little white balls are gathering in creases on my roof. I went outside with hopes of dancing in the sleet and catching little sleetflakes on my tongue, but it kind of felt like fat, cold rain.

I never realized how much useless stuff I own
until I have to move it all. We’re moving closer to campus at the end of the month, so I thought I would get a head start and clean my room, throw some stuff away, bring old clothes etc. to the Salvation Army. So far, I’ve only accomplished finding useless shit such as a box of Rolling Stone magazines from years ago, boxes of clarinet reeds that are softer than Liberace at the Playboy...

I hate to promote AOL for anything, but if you go toe aol.com and click aol radio, one of their 350 channels is called “Deep Classic Rock”. Music as it was not all that long ago and there are some songs and groups that aren’t played anywhere else. Right now listening to Black by Pearl Jam for example. Beatles and Nowhere Man before that.
